IN A RUT? OVER AND OVER AGAIN......
Can you relate?? Is that expression on your face lately? In the old testament, over and over, God allowed calamity in one form or another to overrun the nation of Israel when they were lost in their sin and the vast majority of its people suffered because of it. But, after they turned from their KNOWN sin and cried out to The Lord, He restored them better than before. In case you are wondering, this cycle happened 44 times in God's Word. Is this not the same with you and me? We unfortunately go through the cycle over and over depending on how much the old self we attempt to hang on to..... We are considered, individually, in a spiritual sense, as the nation of Israel, as God's chosen people. Does he not allow circumstances to kill off the old us, the rebellious us, that part of our past life where we lived for the flesh? Or maybe we have been duped into trying a new type of disobedience. And once we are done with that, he restores to us a closer version of the Fell...
