DID YOU KNOW THAT YOU ARE A REAL ESTATE DEVELOPER?

Did you realize that you are in Real Estate? Here in all of Space there is only 2 lands or kingdoms. The kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness and their borders are constantly at war. Every single day. And, like it or not, you are on the battlefield. Even if you choose to ignore it, you are there. We don't get a choice on this fact.

A Kingdom is a specific area ruled over by a King or Prince with people that are subject to his rules and desires. Did you know that the borders of God's Kingdom are entrusted to us on a personal level. 

No matter where we go, work, home, grocery store, beach, church, our very thoughts and actions, seen and unseen, have a direct impact on the boundaries of His Kingdom. At the end of every day I think it is wise to ask ourselves "today, did we gain ground or lose ground for God and ourselves?" Turn from a sin, do a good deed, take a step of faith and the borders expand. Look lustfully at person, steal from work, lie a little and you just lost ground to the enemy. It's kind of scary that this much responsibility has been placed on us. 

 I find it sort of ironic that we, people, are both the soldiers and the prize. God's enemy, Satan and his minions cannot hurt God, so he so he exists to destroy God's most prized possession, us.

I guess that's why the Bible says that we are to "continue to walk out our salvation with fear and trembling." (Phlp 2:12b)

 But in the next verse God tells us that he will empower us to make the right choices, as always, if we are willing.

"for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose". Phlp 2:13 

Thank God that he is not left us to do this on our own! 

Now go, capture some more territory for God and yourself!

THE 2 CHOICES THAT WE ALL HAVE

  CHOOSE WISELY, WHILE YOU STILL HAVE A CHOICE!   Everyone must choose one of two pains. There is no avoiding it. The pain of discipline, or the pain of regret. The choice is yours. Discipline: "the ability to pursue what one believes is right, despite temptations to abandon it." Folly: "lack of good sense or normal prudence and foresight." The pig who built his house out of brick made a choice which required discipline because of the skill and time required to build it.  The pig who build his out of sticks made his choice, the easy way out, and wound up with only regret. (and homeless...) When you build your house on the rock of Christ Jesus, it takes discipline. TAKE UP WHAT CROSS??

  What Jesus was really saying in Luke 9:23 There is so much misunderstanding, fallacy, and false teaching of this scripture;    "You must deny yourself, take up your cross daily and follow me."  When Jesus was telling this to the disciples, He had not gone to the Cross yet, neither had he been physically carrying one around.  So, since He ALWAYS leads by example, what was He carrying around Daily?  His purpose. And His purpose was to be The Messiah on the cross. Yes, the physical cross was in his path, but that was ONE day out of his 33 years of living, and after that one day, he was done with the material of the cross! He lives even today, still fulfilling His purpose.   This is the same thing that he wants from us.  As we willingly and purposely walk with him in discipleship, we learn more and more of what our individual calling is as He guides our hearts (to will and to do).
