The Teeter Totter you pray on
What kind of prayers do you pray? Our prayers reflect the current condition of our hearts. What we pray for and how we pray on a daily basis can reveal much about ourselves. Do we have a balance of requests and praise? If your prayers were put on a balance scale would your side be lower than the side that contains all the other people in your life?
"I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—"
1 Tim 2:1
We all go through trials that drive our prayers to be focused mainly on our immediate situation and that is perfectly all right for that season. But I've found out that by making myself to remember others, even in these troubled times, that my personal burden somehow lightens. It's a win-win situation.
Pray your heart out. One of the reasons God offered His plan of forgiveness and salvation was so you could have these heart to Heart talks...
