Chasing after Blessings. Who’s to bless who?

You know there's that very popular phrase, "God Bless America" that is spoken and posted carelessly everywhere, but our nation is still in such turmoil. People continue to cry this out but it doesn't seem to be happening. Not even close . And we are naive enough to ask why!                    

God has given us a very simple explanation! 

That would be found in Deuteronomy 28:2. 

"All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God."

Read this passage in its context starting at verse 1 and read the rest of the chapter. Notice in verse 2 there's that huge word, "IF". 

We, as a nation, are not doing this "if" and we are already experiencing the things mentioned in verse 15 and beyond, which coincidentally, also contains that word, "if".

Unfortunately, the ungodly leadership in this nation and the blind sheep that are following them, are doing the second "if" and making it the norm for our future generations. This reminds me of the phrase, “..and he did evil in the sight of The Lord”!

It is well past the time that we start saying "America bless God" instead of the gimme, gimme, gimme, saying that we have made our Banner. 

Is this going to happen by our leaders suddenly having an epiphany and leading our nation in repentance and start following all the ways of The Lord?

About the same odds as me putting Super unleaded in a rental car.....

But, if you and I determine to walk out our lives in close, loving, obedient relationship with our Creator, Savior and Living Word, we just may open the door for a national revival of the people.

THE 2 CHOICES THAT WE ALL HAVE

  CHOOSE WISELY, WHILE YOU STILL HAVE A CHOICE!   Everyone must choose one of two pains. There is no avoiding it. The pain of discipline, or the pain of regret. The choice is yours. Discipline: "the ability to pursue what one believes is right, despite temptations to abandon it." Folly: "lack of good sense or normal prudence and foresight." The pig who built his house out of brick made a choice which required discipline because of the skill and time required to build it.  The pig who build his out of sticks made his choice, the easy way out, and wound up with only regret. (and homeless...) When you build your house on the rock of Christ Jesus, it takes discipline.     There's Still Hope! Do you think that God has possibly given up on you?
